KITEBAAZ exists to document kite flying culture in India and build it into a brand that the culture can rally around. Vansh is taking a lifelong passion, rooted in family, Independence Day skies, the COVID rooftop years, and the makers and stores of Delhi and Jaipur, and turning it into an honest public record of the practice: the flying, the fighting, the festivals, the shops, and the people who make the gear. That documentation earns the credibility for everything else. A marketplace connecting flyers to the best kite and manjha makers across India launches soon, and it is central rather than distant: it gives makers national reach, gives flyers real access, and makes the brand profitable enough to stay independent. KITEBAAZ takes a public position on manjha safety and legality, and will only list products that are legal to sell. Reviving interest in kite flying among Indian youth is a genuine and welcome outcome, but it follows from documenting the culture well rather than from campaigning for it. The first phase is depth over spread: build in the strongholds of Delhi, Jaipur, and Bareilly, where the makers, festivals, and community already are, before going anywhere else.
